InTheReply ("we") operates InTheReply.
What we collect
Account email and hashed password; brands, competitors and questions you enter; results of checks; basic first-party usage events (page views, sign-ups); support messages; IP address for free-check rate limiting.
Who we share it with
Processors needed to run the service: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon Postgres), payments (Stripe), email (ActiveCampaign for our newsletter list, a transactional email provider), and AI providers: Google (Gemini API), which receives the questions you track — on its free tier Google may use prompts and responses to improve its products; OpenAI or Perplexity only if added later. We do not sell your data.
Sign-ups are added to our email list. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; the weekly digest can be turned off in your dashboard.
